Welcome to Wonder. These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) apply to your use of the Wonder website, your purchase or use of tickets, and your attendance at any Wonder experience, performance, workshop, craft-and-sip event, private event, or related program (each, an “Event”). By using our website, purchasing a ticket, registering for an Event, or attending an Event, you agree to these Terms.
1. About Wonder
Wonder creates multi-sensory experiences centered around live music, film, creativity, food and drink, and connection. In these Terms, “Wonder,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Wonder and the person or entity presenting the applicable Event.
Specific Event descriptions, ticket pages, confirmation emails, posted venue rules, and other policies disclosed at the time of purchase are incorporated into these Terms. If an Event-specific term conflicts with these Terms, the Event-specific term will control for that Event.
2. Eligibility and Minors
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian, to purchase tickets through our website or an authorized ticketing platform.
Age requirements may vary by Event or venue. Guests under 18 must attend with a parent or legal guardian unless the Event listing expressly states otherwise. If alcohol is available, it will be served only to guests age 21 or older who present valid government-issued identification. Purchasing a ticket does not guarantee alcohol service.
3. Tickets, Pricing, and Payment
Ticket prices, included items, taxes, processing fees, and optional add-ons are shown during checkout. By completing a purchase, you authorize the applicable payment processor to charge the total displayed amount.
Tickets are valid only for the Event, date, time, and admission type shown in the confirmation. Tickets may not be duplicated, counterfeited, or resold for commercial gain. We may cancel tickets obtained through fraud, an unauthorized seller, or a violation of these Terms.
Unless an Event listing says otherwise, seating may be assigned, shared, communal, or first come, first served. Purchasing multiple tickets does not guarantee that all guests will be seated together unless confirmed by Wonder.
4. No Refunds, Transfers, Changes, or Exchanges
Except where required by law or expressly stated in the Event listing, all ticket sales are final and nonrefundable. Wonder Events are limited-capacity experiences. Art materials may be prepared or made to order, and food, dessert, staffing, seating, and production resources may be reserved based on each purchase. Costs may therefore be incurred immediately after a ticket is purchased.
For that reason:
- No refunds will be issued for illness, scheduling conflicts, travel delays, personal safety decisions, weather concerns, late arrival, or any other reason when the Event proceeds as scheduled.
- Tickets may not be transferred or reassigned to another person.
- Tickets may not be exchanged or moved to another date, time, theme, or Event.
- Names, activities, craft selections, seating selections, and other order details cannot be changed after purchase unless Wonder made an error or applicable law requires otherwise.
- Failure to attend an Event that proceeds as scheduled constitutes a no-show, and the full ticket value is forfeited.
By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and agree to this policy. It applies regardless of the payment method used, except where prohibited by law.
Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
Contact Wonder before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute so we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve any billing error or service issue. Initiating a chargeback does not automatically cancel these Terms or create a right to a refund.
If a chargeback is submitted, Wonder may provide the payment processor or card issuer with relevant records, including the order confirmation, Event status, proof of attendance or ticket use when available, communications, and the version of the policies accepted at checkout. Fraudulent or knowingly false disputes may result in cancellation of current or future orders and refusal of future service, to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in this section limits any dispute right provided by applicable law or a card issuer’s rules.
5. Event Changes, Postponement, and Cancellation
Event programming may change. Wonder may reasonably modify performers, instructors, activities, crafts, materials, menu items, beverages, seating, venue areas, start times, or other Event details when necessary. Comparable substitutions may be made based on availability, safety, operational needs, or circumstances beyond our control.
If an Event is postponed or rescheduled, the original ticket will remain valid for the new date unless Wonder communicates a different policy. We will send available options and any response deadline to the contact information used for the purchase.
If Wonder cancels an Event and does not reschedule it, the ticket purchaser will receive a refund of the ticket price paid to Wonder. Fees charged and retained by an independent ticketing or payment platform may be governed by that platform’s policies. Unless required by law, Wonder is not responsible for travel, parking, lodging, childcare, third-party purchases, or other incidental expenses.
Wonder is not responsible for delay, relocation, modification, postponement, or cancellation caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including emergency conditions, power or equipment failure, venue closure, government action, labor disruption, performer illness, public-health concerns, or other force-majeure events. Any refund, credit, or rescheduling option in those circumstances will be communicated to ticket holders and provided as required by applicable law.
6. Snow and Severe Weather Policy
The safety of our guests, artists, and staff is important to Wonder. Guests should review this policy before attending an Event.
Event Status Decisions
- Events will proceed as scheduled unless Wonder announces otherwise.
- Decisions regarding delays, rescheduling, or cancellations due to snow or severe weather will be made no later than three hours before the Event start time, unless conditions change unexpectedly.
- Official updates will be sent by email and/or SMS to the contact information provided at checkout and may also be posted on Wonder’s official channels.
If the Event Proceeds
- If an Event proceeds as scheduled, tickets remain nonrefundable, including when a guest chooses not to attend because of weather concerns, unsafe travel conditions, or a personal safety decision.
- Guests who do not feel safe traveling may arrive later during the Event window, subject to the late-arrival policy below.
- A guest who does not attend an Event that proceeds as scheduled is considered a no-show, and the ticket is forfeited without refund, transfer, exchange, or credit.
If Wonder Cancels Due to Severe Weather
If Wonder cancels an Event because of snow or severe weather, Wonder will provide one of the following:
- Transfer of the ticket value to a future date in the same Event series; or
- Event credit for a future Wonder Event.
Cash refunds are not guaranteed unless required by law.
If Wonder Reschedules Due to Severe Weather
- Tickets will automatically transfer to the rescheduled date.
- If the purchaser cannot attend the rescheduled date, Wonder will issue an Event credit.
- Cash refunds will not be issued unless required by law.
Travel and Personal Safety
Guests are responsible for assessing their own travel conditions and making decisions that prioritize their personal safety. Wonder’s decision to proceed does not represent a guarantee that travel is safe from every location.
7. Arrival and Late Entry
Guests should arrive by the check-in time stated in the Event listing or confirmation. Because some Wonder experiences begin with a quiet live-performance or film segment, late entry may be delayed until an appropriate break. Late guests may miss part of the Event, and the Event may not be extended or restarted.
Failure to arrive on time does not entitle a guest to a refund or credit. We may release unclaimed seats when needed for Event operations, while still admitting the ticket holder when reasonably possible.
8. Guest Conduct and Quiet-Experience Rules
Wonder is designed to be welcoming, creative, and respectful. Guests must follow staff instructions, venue policies, posted safety rules, and any quiet-experience guidance.
During designated quiet portions, conversation, calls, disruptive movement, and sound from mobile devices are not permitted. Phones must be silenced. Photography or short-form recording may be limited when it distracts performers or other guests.
Harassment, discrimination, threats, unsafe behavior, excessive intoxication, interference with performers or staff, damage to property, unauthorized commercial activity, and unlawful conduct are prohibited. Wonder or venue staff may refuse admission or remove a guest whose conduct is unsafe, disruptive, or violates these Terms. A guest removed for misconduct is not entitled to a refund.
9. Crafts and Participation
Some Events include hands-on crafts, tools, adhesives, lights, glass, wood, clay, paint, dried plants, small parts, or other materials. Instructions and supervision are intended to reduce risk, but participation may involve ordinary risks such as cuts, splinters, burns, stains, allergic reactions, or damage to clothing or personal property.
You are responsible for using materials as directed, supervising any minor in your care, and notifying staff if you need assistance. Guests should not participate in an activity they cannot safely perform. Craft results vary, and completed projects are not guaranteed to match samples or promotional images.
10. Food, Beverages, and Allergies
Food and beverages may be prepared or supplied by a venue or third-party provider. Menus and availability may change. Unless expressly confirmed in writing, Wonder cannot guarantee that any item is free from allergens or cross-contact, including milk, eggs, wheat, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, fish, or shellfish.
Guests are responsible for reviewing available ingredient information, communicating allergies or dietary restrictions before consuming an item, and deciding whether consumption is safe for them. If you have a severe allergy, contact Wonder before purchasing so we can explain what accommodations, if any, may be available.
Alcohol must be consumed responsibly. Wonder and venue staff may refuse service or remove a guest who appears intoxicated or behaves unsafely.
11. Assumption of Risk and Personal Property
By voluntarily attending and participating, you accept the ordinary risks associated with live events and the activities described in the applicable Event listing. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wonder is not responsible for injury, loss, or damage caused by risks inherent in the Event, a guest’s failure to follow instructions, or the acts of another guest or independent third party.
Guests are responsible for their belongings. Wonder is not responsible for lost, stolen, forgotten, or damaged personal property, although we may make reasonable efforts to help locate a reported item.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability arising from Wonder’s gross negligence or willful misconduct.
12. Photography, Video, and Guest Content
Wonder may photograph, film, or record Events for promotional, editorial, archival, and social-media use. When recording is planned, we may provide notice through the Event listing, signage, announcements, or staff.
By entering an area where recording is taking place, you understand that you may appear incidentally in Event media. If you prefer not to be photographed or recorded, tell a staff member at check-in and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate you, such as identifying a camera-free area when practical. We cannot guarantee exclusion from wide crowd shots or recordings made by other guests.
You may take personal photos and short videos unless staff, performers, licensing restrictions, or venue rules state otherwise. Recording may not interfere with the Event, block another guest’s view, use disruptive lighting, or capture another guest in an intrusive manner. Professional photography, commercial filming, live streaming, and use of tripods or large equipment require advance written permission.
If you tag Wonder or voluntarily submit content to us, you retain ownership of your content. You grant Wonder a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to repost and display that content for promotional purposes, with attribution when reasonably practical. You may revoke permission for future use by contacting us, but revocation will not require removal of materials already printed, published, or incorporated into completed content.
13. Intellectual Property
The Wonder name, branding, website design, original copy, graphics, event concepts, photographs, videos, and other materials created by or for Wonder are owned by Wonder or used with permission. They may not be copied, sold, reproduced, modified, or used commercially without prior written permission.
References to films, characters, songs, artists, or other third-party works are used to describe an Event’s inspiration or programming. All related trademarks and copyrights belong to their respective owners. Unless expressly stated, Wonder is not sponsored by, endorsed by, or affiliated with those rights holders.
14. Website Use and Third-Party Services
You may use our website only for lawful personal purposes. You may not interfere with the website, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, scrape content at scale, impersonate another person, or use the website to violate another party’s rights.
Our website may link to independent venues, ticketing platforms, payment processors, social networks, or other third-party services. Their terms and privacy practices apply to your use of those services. Wonder is not responsible for third-party websites or services that we do not control.
15. Privacy and Communications
Our collection and use of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy. Transactional messages relating to a purchase or Event—such as confirmations, reminders, schedule changes, and safety notices—are part of providing the service you requested.
Marketing emails and text messages are optional and are governed by the consent language presented when you subscribe. You may unsubscribe using the instructions in the message. Opting out of marketing will not stop necessary transactional communications about an existing purchase.
16. Accessibility and Accommodations
Wonder wants guests to be able to participate comfortably. Contact us before the Event if you need a reasonable accommodation. Because Wonder uses different venues, available accommodations may vary, but we will work with the venue and guest in good faith where reasonably possible.
17. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website, Events, and related materials are provided “as is” and “as available.” Wonder does not guarantee uninterrupted website access, a particular creative result, a specific emotional or entertainment outcome, or the continued availability of any performer, activity, menu item, or material.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wonder will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from the website, a ticket purchase, or an Event.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wonder’s total liability for a claim relating to a ticket or Event will not exceed the amount paid to Wonder for the ticket giving rise to that claim. These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot legally be limited.
19. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before filing a legal claim, you and Wonder agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute informally by written notice describing the issue and requested resolution.
If the dispute is not resolved informally, any legal action must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction serving Fairfax County, Virginia, unless applicable law requires otherwise. Nothing in these Terms prevents either party from bringing an eligible claim in small claims court.
20. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised version will be posted with a new effective date. The Terms in effect when you purchase a ticket will generally govern that purchase, except that later changes may apply when required by law or when they do not materially reduce your rights.
21. General Terms
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that provision. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. Wonder may assign these Terms as part of a business reorganization, sale, or transfer.
These Terms, together with incorporated Event-specific policies and our Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and Wonder concerning the website, ticket, or Event.
